Hélio Senatore is a Brazilian comics artist and illustrator from São Paulo. In the early 1980s he made several comics for Brazilian Disney magazines, many which starred 'Joe Carioca'.

Life and career
Originally from the municipality Santa Bárbara D'Oeste, Senatore studied at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. In the early 1980s he was part of a new wave of pencillers working for the local story production of Disney comics by Editorial Abril, alongside Seung Joo Kang, Ernesto Y. Miyaura and Paulo Renato da Costa Noely. His stint was however short-lived, as he worked on about a dozen stories with 'José Carioca' in the period 1982-1984.
Since then, he has worked as an illustrator for a variety of children's products. He has made illustrations and infographics for schoolbooks and other educational publications of Editora do Brasil, Editora Ibep Nacional and Editora Anglo. He was a designer for toy manufacturer Estrela, and an illustrator of editorial pages, activity sections and puzzles for the children's magazines Revista Recreio and Revista Eliana.
